For some reason Aimee Teegarden hasn’t gotten the same kind of love that her former castmate Minka Kelly has gotten, and that’s a shame. Heck, this is the first time I’ve ever featured her here. Perhaps she should have done a bikini photo shoot sooner? I won’t even get into why this bikini photo shoot appears in Men’s Health magazine. She’s certainly not a man, but whatever, I’m just glad someone is finally recognizing the kind of talent she possesses. Here’s to hoping this leads to even more sexy photo shoots. As promised I’ve gathered images of Aimee at the Primetime Emmy Awards last evening and added them to the gallery. Congratulations to Aimee and the rest of the cast on the win for Friday Night Lights also! Tomorrow I’ll be adding the other missing events to the gallery as well, so stay tuned for more updates.Below is your first look at Aimee from the Primetime Emmy Red Carpet, she looks stunning in a black one shoulder dress, stay tuned to the site because we’ll have high quality images later on this evening from the event.Hello everyone, Sadly Becca had to give the site up, but I’m Holly, one half of the new team here at Adoring Aimee. I’ve added blu-ray captures of her movie Prom to the gallery and I’m sure my other half Qua will be around shortly to give more updates!    Friday Night Lights exec producer Peter Berg is confirming what TVLine told you last month: He wants to bring the franchise back to the big screen, with Emmy nominees Kyle Chandler and Connie Britton reprising their roles as Coach and Tami Taylor.

“We’re writing a script,” he told reporters at the Television Critics Association’s summer press tour following a panel for his NBC reboot of Prime Suspect. “We’ve been meeting with [fellow FNL EP] Jason Katims for the last couple of weeks. We have a real good script idea. We want to do it. We’re very serious about doing it. We intend to do it.”

Berg added that the “goal would be to focus the film around Kyle and Connie and bring [in] some new characters and then bring in some of our familiar faces. We have, I think, a really fresh, very original take on it. We’re very serious about wanting to do it… If all goes well, we would shoot it next year at some point.”What happens when one Disney franchise comes to a close? Another one, in a similar vein of course, begins. Now that the High School Musical kids are all grown up and playing high school students for other studios, Disney is moving on to Prom, a comedy about the stress of prepping for the big night.

As planned, Disney opted for all unfamiliar faces casting Thomas McDonell, Aimee Teegarden, Danielle Campbell, Nolan Sotillo, Yin Chang, Jared Kusnitz, Nicholas Braun, Ben Esler, Kylie Bunbury and DeVaughn Nixon. None have too much experience under their belt, some none at all, except for Teegarden who stars in the show Friday Night Lights, Chang who plays Nelly Yuki in Gossip Girl, Kusnitz who was in Bob Saget’s short-lived show Surviving Suburbia and Braun who plays Cameron in the TV version of 10 Things I Hate About You.

The script comes from first-time feature writer Katie Wech and will be put in Sydney White director Joe Nussbaum’s hands. A major plus comes in the form of Ted Griffin, the producer of Up in the Air. He’s joining forces with first timer, Justin Springer, to produce the flick.

Deadline explains Prom will have a similar tone to John Hughes’ Sixteen Candles and Pretty in Pink, which sounds awfully presumptuous. Perhaps just aiming to create something of High School Musical’s caliber would be more realistic. HSM was never my thing, but compared to the teenage trash out there, it’s impressive stuff and the appeal is quite obvious. Could Disney have another franchise on its hands with Prom? If they make it a simple teenage romp like HSM, it’s certainly possible. One of the most acclaimed TV dramas comes to DVD a fourth time on August 17, when Universal Studios Home Entertainment releases "Friday Night Lights: The Fourth Season" in a three-disc set. All 13 episodes are included.

Adapted from the book and film by the same name, "Friday Night Lights" plunges viewers into the world of the Dillon High School Panthers football team and Coach Taylor (Kyle Chandler) and his family. In season four, Taylor takes the reins at East Dillon High School, while his wife (Britton) is principal at Dillon High in a fictional Texas small town. They have a teenage daughter (Aimee Teegarden) who has problems of her own, but then again everyone has problems in this series--which tackles every major issue facing people living in small-town America. Aimee Teegarden portrays Julie Taylor, daughter of Dillon High School's head football coach Eric Taylor, in the NBC television drama "Friday Night Lights."

Born and raised in Southern California, Teegarden grew up knowing that acting and modeling were her true passions. She began modeling and acting at the age of ten, and since then she has modeled for campaigns including Old Navy, Tommy Hilfiger, Alltel, and the national print campaign for Hollister.

Teegarden's television appearances include "Cold Case," Nickelodeon's "Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide" and Disney Channel's "Hannah Montana."

In addition to acting and modeling, Teegarden enjoys surfing, snowboarding, rock climbing, boxing and hanging out with the love of her life, her dog Gizmo.

Teegarden resides in Los Angeles. Her birthday is October 10.
Meet our newest friend: anti-fur crusader Aimee Teegarden. The vivacious teen is one of the stars of the NBC hit drama Friday Night Lights. She and the love of her life, her adorable canine companion Gizmo, appear in peta2’s latest anti-fur PSA alongside the tagline “If you wouldn’t wear your dog, please don’t wear fur or fur trim.”

On the show, Aimee plays Julie Taylor, the daughter of high school football coach Eric Taylor. Julie tries to distance herself from the role of “coach’s little girl”—of course, that’s kind of hard to do once you start dating the star quarterback, as Julie learns. In real life, one thing that Aimee doesn’t have a problem distancing herself from is fur. A lifelong fur foe and vegetarian, Aimee realizes there’s nothing cool or trendy about killing animals for clothing. “Fur is just not the way to go. It’s not a cool thing, you know? You can’t go around killing something just ’cause it’s smaller than you are. And it’s definitely not a fashion statement.” Check out what else Aimee told us when she and Gizmo spent the day posing for their new PSA.Aimee Teegarden is beautiful in berry as she steps out at the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences’ 63rd Primetime Emmy Awards performers nominee reception held at Spectra on Friday night (September 16) in West Hollywood, Calif.

After the first party, the 21-year-old actress headed over to the 2011 Entertainment Weekly And Women In Film Pre-Emmy Party held at BOA Steakhouse.
