Adrianne was born in Ohio and graduated from Whitmer High in Toledo. She didn't take the stage in her first play until she was a sophomore at Whitmer High School (where she was runner-up for homecoming queen). While in high school she played basketball and ran track. Her parents still live in West ToledoWhat’s different from what we’ve seen before? Well, how about those shiny blue pants? And blue boots instead of red ones? Compared to Lynda Carter’s get-up, this body-hugging extravaganza de-emphasizes the patriotism and seems to play up the comic’s Greek mythology. And a special shout-out to those bracelets!

Wonder Woman is being remade by Boston Legal writer David E. Kelley, who has incorporated the superhero’s signature lasso, cuffs, and plane in the pilot. NBC promises the project, if picked up to series, will offer a serious, non-campy take on the DC Comics character.

Along with Palicki, Elizabeth Hurley (Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me) and Cary Elwes (Saw, The Princess Bride) have joined the cast. Hurley’s character runs a pharmaceutical company that is creating a drug that makes people stronger while Elwes plays the CEO of Diana’s company, Themyscira Industries.Adrianne Palicki is an American actress who has worked alongside such celebrities as Tom Welling, Aaron Carter and Jared Padalecki, though she’s best known for her recurring role on the NBC drama Friday Night Lights. She will star as Wonder Woman in a pilot for NBC -- a role that could be the most butt-kicking of her career. If picked up, the series will debut in fall 2011.

Despite the fact that she’s on a show overrun with hotties, Adrianne Palicki has managed to set herself apart from her impossibly beautiful costars thanks to her flawless looks and personable demeanor. Palicki’s willingness to pose for a risqué photo shoot has only increased our esteem for her, and it’s certainly not surprising to note that she was ranked No. 79 on Maxim’s 2007 Hot 100 list (ahead of such natural beauties as

Though she made her professional debut only five years ago, Adrianne Palicki has managed to make quite an impressive dent on the television industry thanks to her critically acclaimed work on Friday Night Lights. Along with fellow up-and-coming costars like Minka Kelly, Aimee Teegarden and Jesse Plemons, Palicki has effectively managed to transform a struggling drama into a modest hit with a fiercely devoted following. Palicki’s minimal exposure to the silver screen is set to change, as she’s already filmed appearances in a pair of highly anticipated efforts starring such familiar faces as Willa Holland,

Adrianne Palicki was born on May 19, 1983, in Toledo, Ohio. Though she’s now known for her beauty and grace, Palicki was actually thought of as a tomboy throughout her formative years. She participated in a variety of athletic endeavors while attending Whitmer High School, including stints on the basketball and track-and-field teams. It wasn’t until she was a sophomore that she first gave thought to the idea of acting, with a small role in the school play inevitably cementing her desire to pursue a career as a performer.

After graduating from high school, Palicki packed up and moved to New York City to participate in a modeling and talent competition. Three months later, she decided to devote herself 100% to her dream of making it as an actress, and she subsequently moved to Los Angeles. She quickly landed roles in a pair of 2003 indies, with her big break coming the very next year after she successfully auditioned for a starring role in a Lost in Space pilot directed by John Woo. Though the show wasn’t picked up, Palicki had managed to get her foot in the door and subsequently spent the next few months popping up in a variety of popular shows (including Smallville, Quintuplets and CSI: Crime Scene

Friday Night Fox: Before becoming the center of every guy's attention in Dillon, Texas, Adrianne steamed up the sands of South Beach and North Shore. As Friday Night Lights' local vixen Tyra Collette, she spends most of her time off the football field, leading the town in interceptions…of guys. Though her character hates the football way of life, we hope she sticks around a little longer. After all, no one is prettier under the (spot)Lights.Friday Nights Lights series star Adrianne Palicki will play the female lead in the Paramount sequel to G.I. Joe: Cobra Strikes. She’ll play Lady Jaye and joins a cast that includes Channing Tatum, as well as Dwayne Johnson, who signed on to play the role of Roadblock in the Jon M. Chu-directed film.  Ray Park is expected to reprise his Snake Eyes character, Lee Byung-hun is expected to bring back Storm Shadow, and RZA just joined the film. The studio’s casting quickly; they need the film for next summer because the Star Trek sequel won’t be ready and this rebooted film and World War Z are prime candidates to fill summer slots. The big question is who Paramount sets in the role of the original G.I. Joe, Joe Colton. I’ve heard Bruce Willis as a top choice, but last time I checked the studio was eyeing several actors, insiders said. Script’s by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick and Lorenzo di Bonaventura is producing the Hasbro property.

As for Palicki, she’s free because the Wonder Woman pilot didn’t get picked up. She’ll next be seen starring in Red Dawn and her screen credits include Legion, Women in Trouble and Lone Star. She’s repped by UTA, Anonymous Content and David Fox.
