In 2003, Alena launched her fledgling acting career in the film Ho visto le stelle Alena was born on March 21, 1978, in Prague, Czech Republic. Her modeling career started at the age of 15. Five years later, she was named Miss Czech Republic. This launched Alena’s international modeling career and opened the door for her to act as cohost for Italian comedian Giorgio Panariello in 2002. Her successful turn on this show enabled her to act as cohost on a few other shows in Italy.
Alena’s popularity in Italy spawned more opportunities. She scored her acting debut in 2003 with Vincenzo Salemme’s Ho visto le stelle (I Have Seen the Stars), and followed this up with a role in 2004’s Christmas in Love. Alena’s biggest accomplishment was wearing the crown in 1998 as Miss Czech Republic. While undoubtedly a huge honor, it doesn’t have the same kind of cache to it as Miss America or Miss Universe, although Alena has the kind of appearance that would certainly put her at the front of the pack in either of these contests.
Beyond her crowning as Miss Czech Republic, Alena has graced the cover of numerous magazines, hosted several television shows, and launched her film career with 2003’s Ho visto le stelle (I Have Seen the Stars) and 2004’s Christmas in Love. In 2005, Alena was chosen to pose in MaAlena is currently living with her husband, Italian national football goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon. They have a son named Louis Thomas Buffon, who was born on 28 December 2007. Their second son, David Lee was born on 1 November 2009, in Milano, Italy.
She has a sister named Eliška, who is also a model. Her mother's name is Jitka Šeredová.
